On the Issues: Colonel Kevin Benson, Nov. 11

Marquette Law School's Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center for Public Policy and Civic Education, will host an On the Issues with Col. Kevin Benson, author of "Expectation of Valor," on Monday, Nov. 11, at 12:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall.

Benson is a retired decorated Army officer who led the team that developed the invasion plan for Coalition ground forces during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Cobra II. Mike Gousha interviewed Benson on "Sunday Night" when he returned from Iraq in 2003.

Benson's recently released book provides a first-hand account of the successes and failures of the Iraq War. Copies of Benson's book will be available for purchase (cash or check) at the event.
