Trinity County Expands Digital Presence with Launch of Official Social Media Accounts
Weaverville, CA (October 1, 2024) -Earlier today, the Trinity County Board of Supervisors announced the launch of official county social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter platforms. These new accounts will be utilized as an additional resource to provide both critical and routine public information to residents, visitors, and interested parties."Social media has become a critical public resource that many look to for the latest news, information, and updates, especially during an emergency event,"said Trent Tuthill, Trinity County Administrative Officer. "While not a replacement for other digital assets, such as the Trinity County website, social media provides the county with an additional channel of communication with residents, and the ability to provide information in a more immediate and transparent way.
