BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters Event

Sacramento County's Bradshaw Animal Shelter is proud to join BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters event from Oct. 1 to Oct. 15, the nation's largest funded adoption initiative. This lifesaving event helps shelter pets find families by making adoptions affordable- with all adoption fees set at $25!

Every adoption during Empty the Shelters saves two lives: the pet you adopt and the one who takes their place in the shelter. When you adopt from Bradshaw, you'll take home a pet that's spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, ready to be loved.

"By participating in Empty the Shelters, we're able to provide a greater opportunity for our animals to find loving homes," said Annette Bedsworth, Director of Sacramento County Animal Care Services. "It's not just about finding homes; it's about creating families and giving our animals a future filled with love."

Visit the shelter at 3839 Bradshaw Rd, Sacramento, CA 95827 during our open hours: Tuesday - Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., and Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m. All available dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are listed on the Animal Care Services website and can be adopted during this event.

If you have a dog at home, bring them along for a meet-and-greet to ensure they're a good match with the pet you're interested in adopting. Even though many of our pets come to us as strays and we may not know their complete background, they often go on to become beloved family members.

Don't miss this chance to make a difference and save lives-visit us during Empty the Shelters and give a homeless pet a forever home!
