One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
MARIPOSA COUNTY - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
One-way traffic control from Mount Bullion Cutoff Road to Mt. Ophir Road for pavement work beginning Monday, August 19, through Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
One-way traffic control from Joe Howard Road to Mariposa Creek for pavement work on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
State Route 140
One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 for pavement work beginning Sunday, August 18, through Monday, August 19, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday August 20, through Friday, August 23, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to Yosemite National Park for pavement work beginning Sunday, August 18, through Friday, August 23, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
