Moulton Statement on SCOTUS Presidential Immunity Decision

"The Founding Fathers must be rolling in their graves.

As Justice Sotomayor said in her dissent: 'The relationship between the President and the people he serves has shifted irrevocably. In every use of official power, the President is now a king above the law.'

One of our founding principles, when we shed the shackles of a king, was that all are equal under the law. Now a President can accept a bribe in exchange for a pardon with impunity. Why does the majority of the Supreme Court no longer stand up for truth or accountability?"
