Weekend Interstate 74 Ramp Closures Begin at 8pm on Friday, August 23rd

AUGUST 22, 2024 - Beginning at 8pm on Friday, August 23rd and lasting until 6am on Monday, August 26th (weather permitting), the eastbound I-74 entrance ramps at the U.S. 6/Spruce Hills Drive/Kimberly Road Interchange will be closed so crews can make some repairs to the Duck Creek and Middle Road Bridges. A detour will be in place (see map below from the Iowa Department of Transportation).

During this time, eastbound I-74 between 53rd Street and Lincoln Road will also be reduced to one lane.
