City of Trenton to hold Press Conference in the East Ward for the City Wide Clean Up Initiative

Trenton, NJ - The City of Trenton is excited to announce the City-Wide Clean-Up Initiative in the East Ward, with a press conference TODAY, Wednesday, August 14 at 1:30 p.m. on Morton Alley, between Monmouth St. and Chambers St. This initiative aims to enhance the cleanliness and beautify our neighborhoods by facilitating the proper disposal and recycling of bulk items from residents while also clearing the streets, sidewalks, alleyways, and parks of debris, trash, and tall grass.

This week's press conference will focus on the East Ward and how residents can participate in their bulk collection day on Saturday, August 17, what streets fall into their ward, the targeted areas to be cleaned or have been cleaned during the week, and the accomplishments of prior bulk collections.

Keynote Speakers will include East Ward Councilman Joseph Harrison, Public Works Director Wahab Onitiri, Assistant Director Hector Weah, and Recreations Director Paul Harris.

Opportunities for questions, photos, and videos will be available. Please join us to learn more about this important City-Wide Initiative and how it benefits our community. Together we can keep our city clean.
