Road closure on Thickson Road South at Tricont Avenue in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario - The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a road closure at the intersection of Thickson Road South (Regional Road 26) and Tricont Avenue in the Town of Whitby.

When: Saturday, September 14.Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Thickson Road South will be closed at Tricont Avenue in Whitby, restricting access to Tricont Avenue. The southbound lane on Thickson Road South will remain open between Victoria Street and Wentworth Street.

Why: To safely complete asphalt paving operations.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
