State and County Democratic Parties Host Watch Parties in All 50 States, Celebrate Vice President Harris’ Masterful Debate Performance Arrow

DNC experiences fourth-highest online fundraising day ever

Last night, as Vice President Harris and Donald Trump took the debate stage, thousands of Democrats gathered at watch parties hosted by Democratic parties in every single state across the nation to support their nominee. Voters witnessed the vice president lay out her forward-looking vision for our nation, which stands in stark contrast to Trump's lies and deflections. Her vision protects our fundamental freedoms, including access to reproductive care, and ensures every person has the opportunity not to just get by, but to get ahead. Democrats everywhere are turning enthusiasm into action to ensure that community by community, across all 50 states, we are building the infrastructure necessary to compete and win up and down the ballot in November.

It's clear that Vice President Harris' vision for a new way forward is landing - last night, Americans chipped in to make it the DNC's fourth-highest online fundraising day ever.

DNC Communications Director Rosemary Boeglin released the following statement:

"Last night, as Donald Trump focused on himself, Vice President Harris spoke directly to the American people about the issues that matter to them - lower costs, more freedom, and a stronger democracy. Our state and county Democratic parties held watch parties in all 50 states, organizing, texting, and calling thousands of people in their communities to join our movement and defeat Trump's Project 2025 agenda once and for all. The energy was palpable - the DNC had our fourth-highest single day of online fundraising ever. The choice in this election couldn't be clearer: Donald Trump lied and rambled his way through the debate and was forced to defend his record of failing working families, while Vice President Harris focused on the future and her plans to invest in the hopes, aspirations, and ambitions of the American people. Democrats aren't taking a single vote for granted, and are leveraging historic momentum to organize in all 50 states and get out the vote for the Harris-Walz ticket in November."
