ARLINGTON, VA - Yesterday, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and the GridWise Alliance hosted the 2024 Congressional Grid Innovation Expo at the Rayburn House Office Building. Held in collaboration with the bipartisan House Grid Innovation Caucus, guests enjoyed a showcase of innovative products, technologies, and systems which are currently elevating the reliability of our nation's electric distribution grids and advancing the grid of the future.

Attendees also heard from bipartisan House Grid Innovation Caucus Co-Chairs Bob Latta (OH-05) and Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) about how federal and private investments can work together to modernize grid infrastructure. From EV charging to energy storage, to microgrids, to smart cities and communities, electrical manufacturers and utilities are leading the deployment of smart solutions to transform our nation's grid.
