Super-Swiftie Sarah Paulson Is Entering Her Chappell Roan Phase

In a new episode of "The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham" on Radio Andy, known Taylor Swift superfan Sarah Paulson revealed that she's become equally obsessed with Chappell Roan.

"There's someone in my life who's just been talking to me about her forever," Sarah told Jess and Julia, "and I was like, 'I don't know. I don't have any room in my brain for something new … Taylor Swift just occupies the entire thing.'"

But as Sarah made space, she tried to get her partner, Holland Taylor, to love Chappell too.

"I have literally, like, made Holland - I'm like, 'Wait, just listen to this song "California." This was about when she came to LA, and she… Okay, now, just listen to the song "Coffee." This is about a lover she… Okay, now, listen…' And Holland's like, 'I think it's wonderful, darling.' She really likes it, but I can tell she's not like - I don't know if she's going to be going to the concert with me."

Like many other Chappell fans, Sarah was "desperate to go see" her in concert.

"The only time I was able to go was I think a music show in Austin, and then all the tickets were so expensive, and I was like, 'I'm going to do it anyway,' and then I ended up not [being able to] go," Sarah said.

To Jess and Julia, she added, "I think she's playing right now, and, for example, I'm talking to you, which is great fun for me, but I could be at a Chappell Roan concert."
