Secretary of State Diego Morales Attends and Presents at NASS Summer Conference

INDIANAPOLIS (July 15, 2024) - Secretary of State Diego Morales attended and presented at the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) Summer Conference.

Discussions at the conference covered cybersecurity, election administration, securities, international relations, business services, federal legislation, remote electronic notarization, company ownership, and other relevant issues.

Connecting and building upon previously established relationships with my colleagues across the country continues to be the most invaluable aspect of the conference. I'm enthusiastic about applying the insights I've gained throughout this NASS conference, which will continue to advance the Hoosier state and reinforce our standing as a model for the nation," said Diego Morales, Indiana Secretary of State.

During the NASS Summer Conference, Secretary Morales was recognized with an award for the Best #TrustedInfo2024 Video.

As the outgoing NASS Securities Committee Co-Chair, Secretary Morales led a presentation during the NASS Summer Conference, highlighting the work being done with the Securities Division in the Indiana Secretary of State's Office. Morales was appointed as NASS Securities Committee Co-Chair last July.

NASS is the nation's oldest, nonpartisan professional organization for public officials in the U.S.
