Water Meeting to be held Oct. 14 and Oct. 22

The Newton County Board of Commissioners, Covington City County and mayors from Newton County's other municipalities will meet at the Scott Emmons Water Treatment Facility to discuss future planning of the County's water and waste water.

The first meeting will be held Monday, Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the facility, located at 10902 Baxalta Parkway, Social Circle, followed by another meeting a little more than a week later on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

The Public is invited.
