I-185 Overnight Lane Closures This Week for Pavement Repair

What:Georgia Department of Transportation maintenance crews have scheduled concrete pavement repairs on Interstate 185 (I-185) this week, requiring overnight double lane closures northbound and southbound. Please slow down as you approach the work zone and watch for workers and equipment.

Where: Muscogee County, I-185 north and south at mile marker 5.5 (the nearest crossroads are Macon Road to Buena Vista Road).

When:Beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, and ending at 3:30 a.m. the following day, Thursday, July 25. Weather permitting.

Lanes 1 & 2 will be closed Wednesday night @ MM 5.5 Northbound from 7:00 pm to 3:30 am

ADVISORY: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
