Town of Davie Police Department Holding a Multi-Jurisdictional Law Enforcement Training

No Impacts on Traffic

DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie's Police Department is holding joint multi-jurisdictional law enforcement training on Monday, August 12 through Thursday, August 15, 2024, from 1 to 9 p.m., each day. The training will not impact traffic.

The training on Monday, August 12, 2024, involves planned indoor activities. On Tuesday, August 13 through Thursday, August 15, 2024, the training will take place in the vicinity of State Road 84 at University Drive and also west of Nob Hill Road.

The training may include helicopter operations and low-altitude flying. There may also be loud bangs and simulated gunfire. Do not be alarmed as this is a part of the training exercise.

The training is closed to the public and there will be no media opportunities available.
