Killeen to hold Red, White and Blue Music Festival next weekend

KILLEEN, Texas (June 28, 2024) - The City of Killeen will hold the Red, White & Blue Music Festival on Saturday, July 6 in Historic Downtown Killeen.

This event, which will last from 6p.m. to 10p.m. at 200 East Avenue D, will feature live music food trucks, a Jeep Jam, a fun zone, arts and craft vendors, craft beer and the City's third annual fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

Amani Mitchell will open the event with the National Anthem at 6:15p.m. Then three musical acts will take the stage starting at 6:35 p.m., with Afro Beats artist Sonofuche, followed by Soul/R&B artist Motinko at 7p.m.

The headliner is Country artist Tiera Kennedy, who will take the stage at 8:20 p.m. Kennedy was part of County Music Television's Next Women of Country and Listen Up Class of 2020. She has opened for the Charlie Daniels Band and Rodney Atkins, and has performed at the Grand Ole Opry. She also can be heard on Beyonce's latest album, Cowboy Carter in the song "Blackbiird."

Coolers are not allowed at the festival, but there will be a free water station, as well as a cooling area.

Please note that attendees are not permitted to bring pets to the event, with the exception of service animals.

There will be plenty of parking around the festival area. Please do not park on the railroad tracks.
