We made it! The days of 100-degree temperatures are finally behind us. Fall is a special time in Houston, with cooler weather and exciting activities for everyone. Whether you love festivals, exploring nature, or watching football, there is something fun to do. Here are four must-do activities around Houston this fall that you will not want to miss!
1. Texas Renaissance Festival: Travel back in time at this amazing festival! You can dress up like knights or princesses, watch jousting, and eat huge turkey legs. It happens on weekends from October to November in Todd Mission, just outside Houston. All of this is located just a short drive away from our Camden Northpointe in Tomball, Camden Woodmill Creek near the Woodlands, and Camden Spring Creek communities. So, gather up your friends and enjoy a day filled with fun-themed weekends such as Heroes and Villains (11/02 - 11/03), among others.

2. Pumpkin Patch Visit: Visit a pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin! Farms around Houston, like Blessington Farms and Dewberry Farm, located outside Katy, TX have pumpkins, hayrides, and corn mazes to make for lasting memories. Saint Andrew's Pumpkin Patch in Pearland, TX is one of Houston's most popular pumpkin patches, priding itself on being a great family fun destination.
3. Houston Arboretum & Nature Center: Located next to Memorial Park and just a short drive away from our breathtaking high-rise views at Camden Post Oak and beautiful townhomes at Camden Highland Village, the arboretum provides a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. In the fall, the weather cools down, making it a wonderful time to explore nature trails, look for birds, and enjoy the outdoors. Guided tours are optional if you want to learn more about the distinct species native to our area.
4.Houston Texans Football Game: Located less than four miles away from Camden Plaza and Camden Vanderbilt, come cheer on the hometown team, the Houston Texans, at NRG Stadium! Fall is football season, and the energy of a live game is exciting for fans of all ages. Even if you do not have tickets for the game, show up and enjoy the tailgating atmosphere with some BBQ and a cold drink. The parking lots open two hours before the game starts and remain open an hour after the final whistle.
