State Police investigate personal injury accident in Alexandria

On December 10, 2024, at about 3:58 p.m., State Police responded to State Route 12 in the town of Alexandria for a two-vehicle collision with injury.

A preliminary investigation revealed a black 2006 Toyota operated by Lianne M. Quailer, age 61, from Alexandria Bay, NY, was attempting to cross from the Price Chopper Plaza to the Dollar General Store parking lot across State Route 12, when a gray 2003 Ford pickup truck operated by Myles W. Vachon, age 20, from Alexandria Bay, NY, was traveling north and struck the vehicle.

Lianne M. Quailer, passenger Philip M. Quailer, age 38, from Alexandria Bay, NY, and passenger Caleb J. Cranker, age 7, from Alexandria, NY, were transported to River Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The State Police were assisted on scene by Alexandria Bay Fire Department and Fisher's Landing Fire Department.

The investigation is continuing.
