Holmes County: Construction Update
Current and upcoming road closures and restrictions for Holmes County are listed below. Click on each route to see the location at OHGO.com.
State Route 520 upcoming closures: State Route 520 will close east of Glenmont from June 17 to 21 and June 24 to 28 to replace multiple culverts. The detour is SR 514 north to SR 39 east, SR 39 east to SR 60 south, SR 60 south, U.S. 62 west, U.S. 62 west back to SR 520, and reverse.
State Route 83 bridge repair: A project to repair a bridge located north of Millersburg at Township Road 586. Traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic signals and a 10-foot width restriction. Once the signals are installed, the intersection with TR 568 will close for 120 days. Additionally, the Holmes County Trail entrance will close at SR 83. The completion date for the project is September 30, 2024.
State Route 520 upcoming closure: Starting July 8, 2024, State Route 520 will close west of Glenmont to County Road 76 for multiple culvert replacements. This is a full closure of the roadway in both directions. Traffic will be detoured via U.S. 62 east to SR 39 west, SR 39 west to SR 514 south, SR 514 south, back to SR 520, and reverse. The completion date is July 26, 2024.
