2024/09/17 MOL Matches Donations of Group Executives/Employees to Aid Victims of Heavy Rainstorms in Akita and Yamagata Prefectures

TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced that, in response to a call for donations from group executives and employees to aid victims of the recent heavy rainstorms in Japan's Akita and Yamagata prefectures, ¥306,953 was collected. The company will match those donations, for a total contribution of ¥613,906 to the Japanese Red Cross Society. The donation will be used for relief and reconstruction efforts in the affected areas.

All MOL Group executives and employees sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery of the afflicted areas and the swift normalization of life for those impacted by the disaster.
