Re-entry on Fort Myers Beach

The Town of Fort Myers Beach asks that all residents and contractors wait until the all clear is given from the Fort Myers Beach Fire District, Lee County Sheriffs Department, and the Town.

Our main priority is the safety of our residents and staff. Once the all clear is given, the Town will have staff stationed at the access points to check for Hurricane Re-entry Passes. You will not be allowed on Island without a Re-entry Pass.

How to get a Hurricane Re-entry Pass:

  • Residents:
    • If you are an Estero Island resident and do not have a Hurricane Re-entry Pass, you will be able to get one after Hurricane Milton has passed. Staff will be located in the Target Parking lot beginning at 7:00am on Thursday, October 10, 2024. This is subject to change, weather permitting.
      • Target Address: 15880 San Carlos Blvd Ste 101, Fort Myers, FL 33908
  • Contractors:
    • If you are a contractor actively working on an open Town of Fort Myers Beach Permit, you will be able to get a Contractor Hurricane Re-entry Pass. Staff will be located in the Target Parking lot beginning at 7:00am on Thursday, October 10, 2024. This is subject to change, weather permitting.
      • Target Address: 15880 San Carlos Blvd Ste 101, Fort Myers, FL 33908
      • What you will need in order to get a pass:
        • Contractor License Number
        • Owners name
        • Address on permit

The Town of Fort Myers Beach Emergency Management continues to monitor the storm and will update you as it moves past our Island. If you have questions, contact Town Hall at (239) 765 - 0202.
