Scituate Barracks

At 12:06 PM, Troopers arrested Anthony Smith, age 26, of 99 Corliss Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty and 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Technical Violation on the original charge of First-Degree Robbery originating out of Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Plainfield Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute - Men's Intake Service Center where he was held as a probation violator.

At 12 :55 AM, Troopers arrested Jose Gonzalez, age 36, of 129 Pocasset Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs- B.A.C .15 or Greater - First Offense (Phase I .256-, Phase II: .241). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Laurel Hill Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was processed at State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
