AEM Highlights Member Benefits, Industry Challenges at Special Event Hosted by Trimble

The leading-edge benefits and services AEM provides its members, the short-to-medium economic outlook for equipment manufacturing and the customer it serves, and the ongoing business challenges facing the industry, were key topics of discussion at a special AEM member event held last week at Trimble's headquarters in Westminster, Colorado.

Organized and led by AEM and Trimble staff, the event included a comprehensive market update from AEM Senior Director of AEM Market Intelligence Al Melhim, an open forum discussion on the future of sustainability and workforce, as well as a number of additional activities.

"AEM is committed to providing its members with the resources and insights they need to drive decision-making within their organizations and help advance the industry forward," said AEM Account Success Advisor Maxx Lebiecki. During the event, attendees heard from Trimble VP - Construction Scott Crozier and embarked on a tour of the Trimble headquarters. Westminster is Trimble's largest employment center in the U.S. and serves as a central business hub for several of Trimble's core market segments, including agriculture, construction, and geospatial. In addition, Trimble's CEO, CFO, a number of its senior business leaders, and more than 1,000 employees are located in Westminster.

The agenda also included a presentation from Lebiecki on member benefits and maximizing an AEM membership. All AEM's core services, priorities, and initiatives help AEM work toward achieving four goals associated with its Strategic Plan. They are:

• Building a positive perception of our industry
• Accelerating industry growth
• Supporting and empowering member company decision-making
• Facilitating members' customer-facing efforts
