Rep. Fallon Named to Task Force to Investigate Trump Assassination Attempt

In response to the news today that Rep. Pat Fallon (TX-04) was added by Speaker Mike Johnson to the Bipartisan Task Force to investigate the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump, Rep. Fallon commented:

"The cataclysmic security failure we witnessed on July 13 at President Trump's Butler, PA rally should disturb every American."

"We must understand how and why it happened in order to ensure it will NEVER happen again. It is clear that substantive reforms have to be implemented. The mission here, moving forward, is to guarantee the safety of President Trump and all Secret Service protectees."

"Thank you to Speaker Johnson for affording me the opportunity to serve on the Task Force to investigate the attempted assassination of President Trump. It is our duty to work in a bipartisan fashion and leave no stone unturned in pursuit of the truth."
