Birmingham Bridge Inspection Continues this Weekend in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection activities on the Birmingham Bridge (Route 2085) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will continue Saturday and Sunday, July 20-21 weather permitting.

Crews from the Larson Design Group will conduct the inspection work from 6 a.m. to noon each day. Lane restrictions will occur on I-376 (Parkway East) under the bridge according to the following schedule:

  • Saturday morning, July 20 - Inbound (westbound)

  • Sunday morning, July 21 - Outbound (eastbound)

No restrictions will occur on the Birmingham Bridge.

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area. Work zone safety is everyone's responsibility.
