Smithfield Street Bridge Inspection this Weekend in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection activities on the Smithfield Street Bridge (Route 3027) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Saturday and Sunday, July 20-21 weather permitting.

Crews from Gannett Fleming will conduct the inspection work from 6 a.m. to noon each day. Lane restrictions will occur on I-376 (Parkway East) under the bridge in both directions. No work will occur on the bridge.

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area. Work zone safety is everyone's responsibility.
