BOISE, Idaho, June 6, 2012 - IDACORP, Inc. (NYSE: IDA) is pleased to announce the release of the company's inaugural Sustainability Report, issued May 17 at the company's 2012 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
The report is primarily focused on Idaho Power's performance and results, though the philosophical approach to business, responsibility and stewardship is consistent across all IDACORP subsidiaries.
The foundation of the report is IDACORP's five-pronged Sustainability Platform which includes Balanced and Responsible Management; Operational Excellence; Environmental Stewardship; Engaged, Empowered Workforce; and Strong Community Partnerships. A company program or initiative, described from an employee's perspective, illustrates each of these five elements. IDACORP stakeholders also contributed to the report; customers, industry analysts and local nonprofits, among others, submitted personal accounts of how they've benefitted from or participated in company initiatives.
