Weekend Lane Closures on SR 141/Peachtree Blvd for Overhead Sign Upgrades
ATLANTA METRO - Contractors for the Georgia Dept. of Transportation (GDOT) will install lane closures on State Route 141/Peachtree Boulevard (SR 141) this weekend to begin overhead signage maintenance activities on the roadway between Holcomb Bridge Road in Gwinnett County and I-285 in DeKalb County
Weather and on-site conditions permitting, one left lane will be closed on SR 141 northbound and southbound between Winters Chapel Road and Tilly Mill Road beginning 9 p.m. on Friday, November 22 until 5 a.m. Monday.

This $3.7 million project will replace overhead and roadside signs along the corridor, access roads and the I-285 entrance and exit ramps to SR 141. The project is scheduled for completion in late fall 2024.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution and reduce travel speed while traveling through work zones. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
