Hurricane Milton Impacts and Beyond

As Floridians endure Hurricane Milton, UUSC, its staff, and members are keenly aware of the debilitating impacts storms like this have on local communities-both in the immediate aftermath and in the medium- and long-terms. UUSC will be making rapid response grants to partners in Florida to help with recovery efforts and we strongly encourage those with the means and motivation to donate to the UUA's Disaster Relief Fund to support UU congregations and UU nonprofit organizations as they recover from the storm's impacts. Your donation's will go a long way to resource the resilience, recovery, and rebuilding efforts of our beloved UU congregations, communities, and collaborators in Florida. UUSC is working with global partners on the frontlines of the climate crisis, building a rights-based approach for communities facing forcible displacement.
