Brazil’s Participation as the Honored Country at the 28th La Paz International Book Fair — joint press release MRE-Minc

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture announce Brazil's participation as the honored country at the 28th La Paz International Book Fair, to be held from July 31st to August 11th. The opening ceremony of the event will be attended by the President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Arce.

Brazil's participation in the La Paz International Book Fair, Bolivia's premier cultural event, will feature 13 Brazilian writers. The program will also include lectures, debates, film screenings, musical and capoeira performances, as well as meetings with members of the publishing industry from both countries.

Aligned with the fair's environmental theme, the Brazilian program will focus on the Pantanal, a biome shared by Brazil and Bolivia, with an emphasis on the indigenous component. Brazil's participation will also promote national values and interests beyond culture, including sectors such as environmental cooperation, sports, trade and investment.
