Three lanes of 21st Avenue South to close for VUMC construction project

On Monday, Oct. 14, and Tuesday, Oct. 15, traffic patterns along 21st Avenue near Medical Center Drive will be adjusted to accommodate the completion of utility work for a Vanderbilt University Medical Center project.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., two southbound lanes will be closed, and one northbound lane will be closed. The right turn lane on southbound 21st Avenue South at Medical Center Drive will be used to maintain traffic flow.

Traffic controllers will be on site to direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
