Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10005 Beechnut Street

November 8, 2024- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of another at 10005 Beechnut Street about 4:10 p.m. on Thursday (Nov. 7).

The identity of the deceased victim, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The other victim, 23, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Montealegre and K. Amri reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in a parking lot at the above address and found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. Paramedics pronounced one male deceased at the scene and transported the second victim.

An adult female and a child inside the vehicle were not injured.

At this time, there is no known suspect(s) description.
