Permanent Secretary paid a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Bhutan

On 20 November 2024, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. D.N. Dhungyel, Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Bhutan, during her visit to Bhutan to attend the 4th Thailand - Bhutan Bilateral Consultations in Thimphu, Bhutan.

On this occasion, both sides discussed comprehensive areas of cooperation, including trade and investment, education, tourism, as well as connectivity. They expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in Thailand - Bhutan relations following the official visit of H.E. Dasho Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister of Bhutan, to Thailand in June earlier this year. They also reiterated their commitment to continue working closely together, especially in trade and investment, human resource development, and technical cooperation in order for the Bilateral Consultations to yield tangible outcomes.
