Closure of Morrison Avenue between Burlington Drive and Northern Plains Drive

Starting at approximately 8:30 am on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Morrison Avenue will be closed to traffic between Burlington Drive and Northern Plains Drive, for a contractor to replace a section of roadway on Morrison Avenue. The closure will be in place until Monday morning, October 21, 2024. A detour will be in place.

The detour for eastbound traffic will be south on Burlington Drive to Wanchena Way, east on Wanchena Way to Northern Plains Drive, then north on Northern Plains Drive back to Morrison Avenue. Westbound traffic will detour south on Northern Plains Drive to Wanchena Way, then west on Wanchena Way to Burlington Drive, and north on Burlington Drive back to Morrison.

Commercial truck drivers are reminded that Airway Avenue in this area is a year-round 6-ton restricted roadway and shall be enforced as such.
