Town Earns Distinguished Budget Presentation Award

The Town of Flower Mound has once again earned the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association of Texas (GFOA) for its budget beginning Oct. 1, 2023. This is the 32nd consecutive year that the Town has received this award. It reflects the commitment of Flower Mound's leadership and staff to meet the highest principal of governmental budgeting. The award specifically represents a significant achievement by staff members in Flower Mound's Finance Department, who had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines in four key categories to receive the award.
