September 4, 2024 - Two Staff Recognized for Length of Service

At Wednesday's Board of Supervisors Meeting, the Board recognized two staff for length of service.

Mary Clements, an Administrative Manager with Public Health, is celebrating twenty years of service. Meanwhile, the County's longest-serving employee Jim Higginbotham, a Development Services Manager, has officially reached the 40-year milestone.

Although, as Jim explains in the video (above right), if it wasn't for a 21-day break in service, he would actually be celebrating 45 years, having originally joined the County in 1979!
