Manchin Statement On One Year Anniversary Of Hamas' Attack On Israel

Charleston, WV - Today, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV), member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, released the following statement commemorating the one-year anniversary of Hamas' attack on Israel.

"The attack we saw against Israel on October 7, 2023 was a horrific act of violence carried out by a terrorist organization with the deliberate goal of killing innocent civilians. One year later, Israel's resolve remains steadfast in defending their homeland, as does America's commitment to supporting them. On the anniversary of the bloodiest day in Jewish history since the end of the Holocaust, Gayle and I join all West Virginians in praying for our Jewish friends and neighbors as they continue to mourn the loss of loved ones. We continue to stand with the families still working to free their loves ones from Hamas, and we will never give up until all remaining hostages are safely home."
