The City of Birmingham offices closed on Thursday in observance of the Fourth of July holiday

Birmingham, AL - In observance of the Fourth of July holiday, the City of Birmingham offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, with the exception of police, fire, and 911. Residents who receive household garbage pickup on Thursdays will be serviced on Wednesday, July 3. All other household garbage pickup will run as scheduled.

July 3 recycling will be rescheduled to Wednesday, July 10. The regular recycling schedule will resume on Wednesday, July 17.
