First sitting of the AGH University Senate for the 2024–2028 term

The first official sitting of the AGH University Senate inaugurating the new 2024-2028 term of office was held on 25 September 2024 in the AGH University Assembly Hall. The meeting was presided over by the AGH University Rector, Professor Jerzy Lis.

Senate is the most important collegial body of the university. The composition and responsibilities of the AGH University Senate are determined by the Statute of the AGH University of Krakow. The sittings take place once a month. The Senate forms permanent commissions for each term of office, which is 4 years long.
