DCCC Ground Game Continues to Build on Wave of Enthusiasm with August Delivering Best Month of Voter Outreach

DCCC volunteers and staff knocked more doors in the month of August than in the months of May, June, and July combined

Capitalizing on growing energy and volunteer enthusiasm across the country, DCCC staff and volunteers knocked more than 377,700 doors in August - more doors than in the months of May, June, and July combined. This total includes 104,000 doors in the last week of August, breaking the Committee's record for doors knocked in a single week for the cycle so far.

DCCC staff and volunteers additionally made more than 204,000 calls in the same week, pushing the August phone call totals to more than 845,500, also larger than the previous three months combined.

This accelerates the wave of record-breaking enthusiasm that the DCCC has been building:

  • To mark 100 days until the election, the DCCC mobilized volunteers across the country and knocked on over 81,000 doors and completed 1,500 volunteer shifts in battleground districts during the July "Week of Action."

  • The DCCC outraised the NRCC again in July, bringing in $17.6 million and bringing the year-to-date total to a record $107.1 million.

DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
"House Democrats are seeing an incredible amount of energy and enthusiasm across the country, and it's going to power our victory in November. We are mobilizing volunteers and connecting with voters in record numbers because, when voters hear our message, Democrats win. People know we are the only party standing up for reproductive freedom, fighting for lower costs, and creating good-paying jobs."
