The Santa Barbara Police Department is once again utilizing the Nixle program to send out community updates and alerts to people who live, work, and visit our area. Messages will come via text message (SMS) or e-mail alerts and will notify of situations such as missing persons, road closures, or upcoming community events. The system provides a quick, efficient, and secure way to get neighborhood-level information out to community members who subscribe.
