Kildee Statement on the Passing of Doug Weiland

FLINT-Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-08) issued the following statement on the passing of former Genesee County Land Bank Executive Director, Doug Weiland:

"I'm heartbroken to learn of the passing of my longtime friend, Doug Weiland.

"Doug was a true public servant. When mid-Michigan needed him, he stepped up to service as Executive Director of the Genesee County Land Bank, working to eliminate blight and strengthen neighborhoods across our community. I will forever be grateful for his commitment to making Genesee County a better place to live, work and raise a family.

"My heart is with Doug's family and loved ones during this difficult time."
