The Administrative staff wanted to take a moment to address the concerns regarding the Enquirer's public records requests. The city has experienced many transitions this year, and it will continue working to fulfill the numerous requests for records made by the Enquirer and other entities.

Many of these requests involve voluminous documents that consume excessive administrative time to review and fulfill. The city is dedicating excessive personnel time to address the numerous requests, which has been difficult due to inconsistencies resulting from the transition. We want to thank you for your patience and understanding. The city believes transparency in government is paramount and will continue to share information with the community appropriately and timely. Once this matter has been resolved, we will provide another update.
