Banking Agencies to Host Webinar on Bank-Fintech Agreements

The OCC, FDIC and Federal Reserve are coming together to host a webinar called "Ask the Regulators" on Tuesday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. During this session, the regulatory agencies plan to discuss arrangements between banks and third party financial technology providers. This is in regards to the recent joint statement on third-party risks and their request for comment on the use of bank-fintech arrangements to provide banking services and products.

During the webinar it is expected that the agencies will share information on the risks associated with third-party bank arrangements, discuss the examples of effective risk management practices and spotlight relevant existing requirements and supervisory expectations. They will also include a Q&A. Participants must submit questions ahead of time to [email protected].
