The Office of Inclusion and Belonging, Urban Scholars and the Educational Opportunity Program invite the campus community to the Black-Brown Get Down on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Lemonis Center multipurpose room.

This student-led gathering is designed to build community, cultivate cultural awareness and foster solidarity among students across racial and ethnic boundaries. Student leaders will facilitate conversations around the journeys of our ancestors and how we honor them. Each Black-Brown Get Down also features food from a local Black- or Brown-owned restaurant and seasonal treats.

Students from all racial/ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to participate in the conversation.
