Ambassador of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania presented credentials to the President of Mauritania

On November 27, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Arshak Poladian presented his credentials to President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Ghazouani.

In his remarks, the Ambassador conveyed to President al Ghazouani the greetings of President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan and expressed readiness for efforts aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Armenia and Mauritania, as well as fostering cooperation on multilateral platforms.

The President of Mauritania congratulated Ambassador Arshak Poladian on his appointment as the first non-resident Ambassador of Armenia to Mauritania, wishing him every success during his tenure.

The ceremony was preceded by the handover of a copy of credentials by Ambassador Arshak Poladian to Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad.

Following the accreditation ceremony, the Ambassador delivered a short speech to the local media outlets.
