Holiday activity programme and family services update

Liverpool City Council has issued an operational update on its services for families following violent incidents in the city at the weekend.

All Family Hubs and Children's Centres are operating as usual.

Providers who support the council with its Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme which runs throughout the city in the school holidays have been issued with Department for Education guidance. Mersey Play Action Council, who co-ordinates the scheme on behalf of the council, is also supporting providers.

Last week, all HAF programme events went ahead as planned. MPAC and providers are monitoring the current situation and parents should contact individual providers for the most up-to-date information.

Youth provision for older children is also operating as usual.
