SCDOT to temporarily close Fants Grove Road bridge over Eighteenmile Creek in Anderson County for repairs

​Columbia, S.C. (August 26, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation has temporarily closed the Fants Grove Road bridge over Eighteenmile Creek in Anderson County for repairs.

SCDOT is in the preliminary stages of designing the repairs to the bridge and will provide a timeline as more information becomes available.

SCDOT asks the public to slow down and pay attention when driving through the work zone. You can plan your route ahead of time by using SCDOT's 511 SC app or by visiting 511sc.org. If you can't avoid the area, SCDOT asks that you use caution and slow down when driving near crews.
