Seattle’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Rob Lloyd featured in GeekWire

Seattle's new CTO sat down with Geekwire's Kurt Schlosser for a welcome-to-Seattle meet and greet and to chart out how technology can help Seattle tackle some of its largest challenges like public safety, homelessness, and the downtown recovery.

"Seattle's defined how it wants to take these challenges head-on, and technology and information are going to play an integral role in how we collapse those challenges and overcome them," Lloyd said. "That's been my background and why I think the City selected me, and how I can bring, hopefully, some value to the mission."
