TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-Attorney General Ashley Moody is wishing Floridians a safe and happy Halloween. As Floridians get ready to go trick-or-treating or attend a Halloween party, Attorney General Moody is issuing tips to make the night a little less spooky.
Attorney General Ashley Moody said, "Halloween is an exciting time for many-from dressing up as your favorite character to distributing candy. As a mother, I know that parents want their kids to have fun, but also be safe on Halloween. That is why I am issuing tips to help Floridians enjoy a night of all treats and no tricks!"Attorney General Moody offers the following Halloween safety tips:
Parents and guardians can visit FLSexOffender.netto see a list of all registered sex offenders and predators on trick-or-treat routes. Florida lawprohibits sex offenders from distributing candy or other items to children on Halloween.
